new guy here ready to get a little bloody.

just bought my first, well real bike. today. been riding others for a few week. got a fsr xc pro, test bike. love it so far. only able to ride for a hour or so, but cleared a few gardens, and a wall or two. looking to get into this full force. just looking for advise from the vets in here, like what do you think about the bike. good choice or not. i am a bigger guy, not fat just 6'1, 210. so i hope it holds, hope to get back to the 185 with a little help from the bike. so lets here from ya'll. yea i am from georgia!

Hello bhayslip, you seem to have made a pretty good choice for clearing gardens and walls! Check out the Clydesdales forum--those folks are the experts on bikes for bigger guys. Being a Clyde doesn't necessarily mean overweight, just big!

Anyway, enjoy your ride, and

Welcome to BF!

Welcome bhayslip from a neighbor a few miles north of you.

Go to the Southeast regional subforum and you'll find a few other middle Georgia folks.
