colnago master frame
I have just bought a second hand colnago master light frame.Upon closer inspection I notice that on the top tube just before it meets the lug there is a rim of steel which goes around the bottom one third of the frame.(about 2mm high and wide)There is no obvious crash damage and the down tube is fine.I scrapped some paint away on the underside and the tube(columbus gilco) has not been welded.(just a gentle hill like formation)Also the top tube is out by 2mm from a horizontal line. The bike rides fine .Does anyone have any knowledge on if might be a manufacturing fault on the tubing.(the seller assures me the bike has never been crashed)
Thanks
