Hello from cold Cape Cod MA

I just found this forum thanks to the moderator's b-day wishes to my husband. I think his screen name is capecodcowboy, but anyhow....

Yes, I'm a tri geek but I think my arthritic knees may have gotten the better of me so I'll probably be doing more biking than anything else this season.

My current stable consists of a '99 Specialized Hard Rock for local trails, an '02 Specialized Allez that I just gutted the drivetrain on. Changed it from a triple to a double with a 12-27 cassette to match the '04 QR Caliente since that gearing seems to work well for me. I've been thru a lot of bikes over the years but these three work the best for me so I'm staying with them.

I've only been on my bike once so far this year because it is just too cold! Hubby is out riding his new Roubaix as I type

Here's to a fun summer
Ellen

Hello Ellen, eventually you'll discover that Winter Cycling forum, and say, 'Hey! I can...do...that...too .

Or, perhaps not... . Sometimes if you don't get out in the weather, you just don't get out, you know?

Welcome to BF!
