Hidee Ho!

Hi Everyone!

I'm from the wild, wild west of Los Angeles, California. It is quite the concrete jungle here and, as it might be a little crazy to try and ride a motorcycle between the masses of cars (or piggyback as a passenger), I am hoping to be able to start cycling as a good way to get some fresh air and fun exercise!

It looks like a great community to get some really good information. I apologize in advance for my newbie questions but I certainly would like to think of myself as a little learning grasshoppa! Thanks all!

Welcome to BF. I was visiting Pasadena couple weeks ago and found some clubs doing their weekly rides. Cali is a good place to ride, so many challenges such as, traffic, the beaches bike paths, hills and Los Angeles Forest just to name a few. You pick the right way to get in shape, fewer aches and pain than running or jogging IMO. This BF is the very best source of information when it comes to cycling. Used the BF to review folding bikes before I made my purchase. So enjoy riding and safely.

Hello Creesy--there is a thriving SoCal forum, with more stuff going on than you can shake a stick at! If you can't find an event or riding partner or two there--well, you aren't trying :D .

Wander over there and say hello...

Welcome to BF!
