Hello from Austin

I am new to biking, in fact I don't have a bike yet.
Open for suggestions as to make and models for mountain/trail riding. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

A Trek 4300D is a great bike to get started on the trails. It got me hooked.

Hello jagershack, a lot depends on your budget! Normally you would want to start cheaper, in case you decide biking's not for you. The 4300 is a reasonable first choice, though.

Welcome to BF!
