Howdy

Hello - I'm from South Dakota and ride a 18 speed Roadmaster mountain bike not because I ride off road but because mountain bikes are about all they seemed too have in stores when I bought it a number of years back. I also bought a Stanima 890 exercycle a couple of weeks ago which I still haven't gotten out of the box. I ride about 7 miles a day.

Hi rjpnew,

Welcome to this outstanding bike forum. When I first got back into biking, I rode about 10 miles a ride. I found this forum and was so inspired by what I read here that I got addicted and I just finished my first century on June 1.

Enjoy!!

That's for sure. A lot of bicycle enthusiasts here. By the way, not many of them ride Roadmasters.
How is the bike holding up?

Welcome to the forum, sir.

welcome to the forums! I spend an entire day in SD last summer driving a convertable through the badlands in 104-F. heat....that was a trip to remember! I can't imagine riding a bike in that heat!
