Oi from Michigan!

Though I have been hovering a while, I finally got it together and registered. I've been an occasional cyclist for well over 30 years, but am now looking to upgrade a mid 90s Trek, or listen to thoughts in that realm.

Good to be here, and looking to learn a lot!

Hello hillbillypolack--what part of Michigan? Too many Michiganders here to list and I'm surprised they haven't swarmed you yet .

Welcome to BF!

A mid-90's Trek eh? I saw plenty of them on Craigslist just a few weeks ago... if you are looking for a mountain bike style rig.
Where in the mitten are you at? I'm right off Lake St. Claire myself.
