Biking in Bed-Stuy

A few months back I found myself in the center of the road, laying on my back. While the car that made an illegal U-turn in front of me had a nice dent in its side, my cannondale didn't quite survive. What a shame, it gave me a good three years.

So here I am, a new helmet and Specialized Tarmac later, back and ready to ride. Anyone on here from the NYC area that could help me find a group to ride with...figure 16-20mph, distances up to 40-50mi if given the time?

Looking forward to using this forum for all it's worth.

I'm going up to piermont (possibly nyack) with a friend this saturday, 40-70 miles, depending on the route. Right around the same pace.

Hello Daren--sorry to hear about the accident , but it sounds as if you've made a full recovery.

Welcome to BF!

"You should see the other guy/car" Sorry to hear of your crash. It sounds like all is well now though. Welcome!
