Colorado Springs rider
Hi all.
Been peddling off and on forever. Took a long break as we went through rasing children and then got back into peddling and started mountain biking 5-6 years ago. Really love the off road trails around Colorado Springs. No cars to dodge. I’ve been mostly a casual rider for the past few years just doing short rides and not pushing too hard. Instead of “no pain = no gain”, I’ve lived under the philosophy, “no pain = good”, until this year. This year I’ve gotten a whole lot more serious due to just not getting any better before. Bought a road bike this year and started riding with a group that pushes me to get more fit. Currently I have 3 bikes. Cannondale Rush 1000, Specialized Allez Comp, and a Cannondale MT2000 tandem. With the Rush I play in the dirt, the Allez I work on endurance, and the tandem is the most fun bike I’ve ever owned. That one is for socializing as my wife and I ride…
