hello BikeForums.

I stumbled around in the BF archives for a while yesterday looking for info on Alpine Cycles of Rockland, MD. All I know is that they made frames in the 70s and 80s near Washington, DC.

I started city biking (Boston) last summer and was so excited I rode all winter, too.

Hello sevencormorants--does your question mean that you too believe 'steel is real'? You might want to check out the regional forums for folks near to you.

Come and say hello to us at the Classic & Vintage forum--we may be able to give you some more nuggets on Alpine Cycles... .

Welcome to BF!
