Funny story about me and my bike:
I was riding around a neighborhood in downtown April '06. I hit a pothole that sent me to the hospital and totaled my Trek 360 frame. A few months later my friend, who is a bike mechanic, came across a Trek 360 on Craig's List. Luckily, we ride about the same size bike, and he was gracious enough to give me the frame! A few months and couple of dollars later, I was reunited with The Ruby Weapon v2.0. Needless to say, visited my friend quite a lot in those months.
It's also funny that I turned it into a fixie conversion because I hated riding fixie the first two times I tried it. Now, I really enjoy the constant feed back and quick response it provides while commuting in traffic. I'm also glad I allowed myself to become accustomed to commuting in and responding to city traffic. I also rode SS for about 6 months prior.
