Hey
Hi. I recently decided to seriously get into the biking thing. I live in LA which is unmistakably a driving city but I am finding there is a great bike culture here as well. Looking forward to a future of leaving my car parked and biking to my destinations.

Welcome to Bike Forum Kate. LA is a great place to ride a bicycle, so many places to explore and riding is all year round. To live car free, you are at the right place, no snow and availability of bus/rail transportation to complement your riding.

Howdy, kate_fulton. Welcome to the bike forums! Beware, once you get started commuting, you won't go back.

Hello kate_fulton, what kind of bike have you got? I'll look forward to seeing some posts in the Commuting forum about your experiences with LA.
