Chicago, IL commuter

Did a bit of mountain biking in the hills and mountains of Southern California. Background is with motorcycles (sold the R6 before moving out to Chicago).

Moved to Chicago in February, 2006, for work.

Started commuting by bicycle two weeks ago. About 7 miles of stop-and-go on Lincoln Blvd.

Looking to keep the single-speed (Bianchi Fremont) well-maintained.

That is all. Rubber side down!

Hello aaa, nice photos on your website, are they your work?

What are you using for your commute, and we'll need photos .

Don't forget to check out the Great Lakes regional forum.

Welcome to BF!

Yes, the pictures on the website are mine. I'm a hobbyist photographer.

Your Bianchi is a very sleek commuting machine! Thanks for the edit adding that info.

I took another look at your website--you've got some really wonderful photos there (like the 'pink ribbon' photo).
