Getting back into it...

Hi

My name is Alex. I go to school in upstate NY, but I'm from CT.

I just got my first road bike about a month ago and am loving it. I also have an ooollllld trek 930 I got almost 10 years ago...I think. I'll be looking to replace that soon with some sort of racing MTB.

Looking forward to enjoying this forum!

Alex

Hello Alex, what kind of road bike did you get?

That Trek 930 might be worth converting into a SS/FG, by the way. It is a steel frame, is it not?

Check out the regional forum for the Northeast, too.

Welcome to BF!

I got a Cannondale CAAD8, which is sin the shop now getting some sort of free upgrade since a part I needed wasn't in stock.

What does SS/FG mean?

Thanks for the welcomes.

The Cannondale's a nice bike!

SS/FG means Single Speed/Fixed Gear. There's a forum devoted to that species of bike .
