Hi everyone, new to the forums!
Hello everyone!
I'm new here and just wanted to introduce myself... The forums look great, and I can't wait to start gleaning information here and meeting some great people. I hope to be able to positively contribute to the forums as well!
Some background:
I'm 28 years old, and live in MA. I've done quite a bit of mountain biking in the local woods riding my Gary Fisher Joshua. It's not the latest and greatest, but it's certainly more capable than I. I've taken a couple of years off of very regular riding, and am actively trying to burn off the gut that I mustered up during that time.
I also picked up a road bike for some solo riding (not terribly comfortable bombing through the woods by myself). It's an older bike- a Miyata 615, but it's squeaky clean. Like the MTB, it's not exactly the bottleneck in my cycling performance... I'd like to learn more about it, and pick up some tips on road riding... I'm pretty much a novice when it comes to that.
Beyond bicycles, I'm an active motorcyclist. I've roadraced motorcycles for about 7 years. I also enjoy sailing, surfing, snowboarding, camping, etc... I'm a bit of an outdoorsman you could say!
Anyway, great to meet all of you!
