HI from Stockholm , Sweden

HI ,
my name is Timo
I found this website not too long ago and i think its fantastic , a complete knowledge base
from: stockholm sweden
BIke(S)
Cannondale bad boy 700 ('07)
Crescent edge mountain bike ('06)
Rex city bike ('75)
Crescent City bike ('75)
unknown bike 1940's Possibly a kronan ( Bad condition but almost complete )
Monark Classic city bike ('06)
Nishiki 501 Hybrid ('07)
best bike i ever had = GT backwoods mountain bike 1984
been riding off and on since i was a child ( ha hah =)
I have a short commute its 10k each way = 20k daily .I cycle this everyday rain or sun . currently i am commuting on my Cannndale bad boy . It's a great ride at the moment ,but as we know if you have a taste for bikes you always want another 1 .

personal notes :
I started to cycle again last march after a few years absense (other things to do ) .
then i developed testicular cancer (May '06) I went thru the heavy Chemotherapy treatment and had 2 operations . 2006 was a heavy heavy year for me , but i cycled as much as possible during the chemotheray treatments and inbetween the operations and stayed strong .
we went on a trip to the USA this spring (Feb - Mar) for 1 month and returned home and started cycling again .Now after a total recovery ( So far ) from cancer i am feeling strong and more determined than ever to stay on the bike and ride hard and party hard .

now for a lighter note .
thanks for this website
Cheers T

Hello Timo, I've already had the pleasure of seeing some of your posts in C & V and General Cycling.

It is really inspiring to read your story about the cancer, and to see that you are full of positive energy.

Party hard, ride hard, and

Welcome to BF!

(say, are you into Alt Bikes? You sound perfect for the Alt Bike forum )

HI east hill ,
Yeah i have been poking around a bit here in the forums and i thought it was about time i introduce myself ..

Alt bikes , sure i like just about anything about bikes .
You know when i was growing up it was all about mtn bikes .
and whatever trail you could fly down and mach speeds without falling , still the same today .
but in the early 80's we didnt have all the high tech stuff thats out now , it was just ride hard and party hard ( L O L ) and compare trail rashes ....

Yepp , i look forward to a long life here @ the bike forums
