Just got my first real mountain bike!

Hello, my name is Marko. I just got a K2 Attack 1.0SE! I am starting out with real mountain biking, though the closest thing to mountain biking around here is some offroad stuff near a construction site
I go on some trails, a mix of gravel/paved/dirt , some small [2-4Ft] jumps, and sometimes on roads. Roads are boring though. I bike for about 2 hours each day.

I would like to get Marzocchi forks for my bike, because mine are too small.

I hope to have fun sharing my biking stories with you, and have fun!

I'm off to biking now!

Hello Marko--good choice for your first real mountain bike. Here's a link to some "urban" mountain biking!

Welcome to BF!

Thanks! I live in Canada though, and only get real MTB in Mount Tremblant or Blue Mountain in the summer.

I figured you lived in Canada what with having a K2, but it's a fun concept for MTBing where one would least expect to find it.

At least you've got some local gravel/dirt trails. How long does it take you to get to Mount Tremblant and Blue Mountain?

I live near Waterloo [where the great university is] and blue mountain is around a 3-4 hour drive from here. Tremblant is around 6 hours. Today, I'm going to go find some new places to bike!

A really good skill to have, especially when I don't have enough money for a GPS.
