I'm new to biking. I purchased a 2007 Specialized Hardrock Sport for riding and losing weight. I used to be real active 4-5 years ago and I'd like to get back into shape. So far I've just been riding on the roads around my neighborhood (these are tough enough), but eventually I'd like to get fit enough to ride some trails.
My short term goal is to be able to go back and forth from the local bike spot - it's only 2 miles away but I can't make the climb back uphill yet.
