New guy and newbie!

Hey...I'm Rico from Glenside, PA (right outside Philly) and just started mountain biking about 4 months ago. A couple friends of mine were into it and I saw one of their bikes and thought about trying it for months, then I finally pulled the trigger with part of my tax refund and bought a Raleigh Mojave 8.0.

As of now the only upgrades/revisions I have made have been Ergon grips, a RaceFace bashguard to replace the outer ring and Shimano M520 clipless pedals.

I am totally addicted!

Hello Rico, visit the Northeast regional forum and say hi to some of your neighbours. There's a lot of Philly folks in here .

You did well to replace the grips--I've seen a lot of complaints about them. You got yourself a nice hardtail!

Welcome to BF!
