It all started with a friends leftover bike

I helped out a friend on some auto mechanic work, gave me a few bucks plus an abandoned Patriot AMX that all it needed was some TLC.

I decided to spend a few bucks with new tires, saddle and a few other bike accesories before spending the cash on a brand newbian.

I rode it a for a while, but nothing serious until on a vacation had a chance to test a rental Giant road bike and thats when I realized what I was missing. Between the Patriot and the Giant I went thru some kind of awakening.

Well, here I am joined this forum to read, read and read to learn as much as I can about bikes and waiting for my Tirenno Razza 900 soon to arrive on the mail.

Great forum, great people, great sport...

Hello mazpr, I see you have found your way around the board, but don't forget to check out the regional forums.

Enjoy your new ride, and

I got the Tirenno Razza bike yesterday.

So far I have not used it much, I am still tweaking the gears and brakes as it is a little bit rough when shifting.

It is much lighter than my old AMX, its so light that the bikes feels brittle although it is not. I am used to the solid heavy aluminum frame. The size is a little smaller than the AMX Patriot. The change from a 53 to a 50 crank is noticeable, I still "feel" the PAtriot gives me better top speed while the Razza is light on fast on acceleration. These are just random observations which they are going to change once past break-in and done with tuning the bike.

I don't know, all of my bikes have a different feel to them. As you observed, some seem more fragile than others (which they aren't), but they are all different, which is why I have so many :) .

Nice paint job on the AMX!

Do you have any pix of your new steed yet? If so, feel free to post. If there is ONE thing we like at Bikeforums, it's pictures. :) Welcome!
