redwoodbmx Austin, TX

Hey just wanted to drop a line. Raced bmx............ a long time ago. And, decided to get back on the bike. Picked up a Volume Sledgehammer (black) 26" last night here in Austin. It's a nice ride. Looking for a front brake, and a set of handle bars that reach a little higher into the sky.

Got a MTN bike, but the shock bugs me. Everytime I push the petal does a nose dive. You are thinking, get a solid fork. But, changing gears and all... I prefer the stability and simplicity of a cruiser.

I've already picked up a lot reading posts.

Thanks to the contributors.

Hello redwoodbmx, nice to see you get back on the bike! If you haven't already found it, check out the Texas regional forum.

Welcome to BF!
