Hello John, looks as if you've wasted no time saying hi around the board!

Welcome to BF!

Welcome!

There aren't as many BFers in SD as there are in the El-Ay Megalopolis but we make it up in quality.

Without knowing anything about what kind of riding you like to do, here are two completely different choices.

1. A happy 5000+ ft death march up Palomar in the early morning heat on the 28th

Hot Palomar ride: July 28

2. A 25 mile social ride through central SD and Point Loma

Aug 4: Kinder, Gentler SD Urban Ride Interest Thread

I'll be at both.

Nice place to ride... I used to live on Marlborough, just south of University... long long before they did that bridge project for 15. I was car free in those days and remember my favorite routes such as along Orange ave going east. Or using Landis going west... and of course using Juan street to go up from the beach areas. Adams Ave Bikes was my hangout back in the day... for a 6 pack I could go back and use the cleaning tank and take care of my bike. Back when Brian owned the place. (we are talking back in the '80s here)

Zumwalts used to exist near 30th and University... near a KFC.

Was a good time back then.

Thanks, I like it.

AA bikes is still the place to go, just new ownership.

Currently I'm living near SDSU. I just got a specialized sequoia about a month ago and am always looking for people to ride with. If anyone is interested let me know!
