Newbie in NewYork

Hi All,
I just joined the forums and am looking forward to getting lots of great info and being part of the online community here. I just recently started riding, doing 2-3 rides per week, 40-50 miles, working up to do a century by end of the summer.

Look forward to learning from all the great "pros" out there.

Welcome to the cyber-hood. There is much wisdom to glean from these forums. You might want to edit all your profile settings, pick an avatar, etc. Since you already have your first post, I am field promoting you to NEWBIE FIRST CLASS. You may edit your profile to reflect that. Your pay however will remain the same. I too am looking forward to my first century. I've been putting in a lot of 70-80 mile rides, but havent had the time to go farther.

Hey there ~ are you near Katonah? Welcome!

I'm actually in Bronxville and have been doing road up by my friend's place in Mahopac, where there's a really nice Rails-to-trails path. Please keep in mind that our times generally suck Donkey Balls, but we have a great time and have bikes that are better than us!!!- if you're interested in setting up a ride up there PM me...

Hello katonahrider, it looks as if you have already taken a gander around the board. Don't hesitate to ask questions (although I've seen some surly answers the last few days, must be the heat ! ).

Welcome to BF!
