Nouveau aux mountains
Hi everyone,
Having been prompted to introduce myself, I will attempt to. I just moved to the Eastern townships : sherbrooke. Lots of hills around here so I thought I would try some trails. I come from flat land and, more recently, the city, so all my biking experience is on log roads or zig zagging through traffic. With my crappy Leader bike I busted the head on the first jump (I think it's the head : holds the steering to the frame..the extension of the steering) Anyways, I thought I would by a more suitable bike for my new endeavours. I got a used Oryx equipe 50 hardtail. I love it. Compared to what I had, It's paradise. light and agile comfortable. I wasn't sure on alot of things and I wanted to know more about the bike I just bought so I found this forum. T's'it!
Lots of great info here. Shifting, braking, helmets, biking styles...very interesting.
Merci

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.
