Welcome to BF! Well, your aerobic capacity will be a big help, but running uses different muscles. I'm pretty sure you'll like the cycling though! We have some subforums you might be interested in, since you marathon, you're likely to be a natural for being attracted to distance riding. The Long Distance subforum, as well as Training and Nutrition.

Feel free to drop by CLydesdales as well as I'm pretty sure you can have good feedback there for our larger riders as to aerobic health, etc.
on light duty due to illness; please contact my assistants for forum issues. They are Siu Blue Wind, or CbadRider or the other 3 star folk. I am currently at home recovering from a couple of strokes. I am making good progress, happily.

I've had several since 1999 but have settled on my beloved 2001 Litespeed Tuscany. Just ordered a 2015 Cannondale Supersix EVO 105 to replace my "destroyed" CAAD 10 2.

As stated, it will help as your aerobic system is conditioned. However, you will be using a different set of muscles for sure. You'll have to condition them also.
