Hey dudes,

I'm Nik. I'm here because I want to learn about cycling!
I've always wanted a road bike, but until recently have
never had the time or money to get one.

I recently bought myself a giant SCR 2. I don't think I'm
getting the most out of it. I'm looking forward to talking
to you all.

Hi Nik, where do you live? Perhaps you can find some local members to help you drag yourself out there . There is nothing like a riding partner to help motivate one to do better!

Welcome to BF!

After reading Joe's sticky, I realise I didn't leave enough information.
I'm from Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK. Currently working as a
junior engineer. I recently had testicular cancer. But funilly enough
I hadn't heard of Mr Armstrongs story until after the ordeal!

I've only been cycling a road bike for the last couple of months. But
I'm really enjoying it and want to take it seriously.

Pleased to meet you all.

Nik, let me be the first to say that I hope you've got the testicular cancer under control, we hate to lose anyone who enjoys cycling .

Anyway, it's too bad you are way up north, I know there are members much further south, but not so many in Geordie country.

One of my great grandfathers was a Geordie, although most of my family were from Lancashire .

I'm in the clear now. So all is well. Thanks :-)
I'm not a Geordie either. Lived in Ireland most of my life.
I see cyclists around so I know I'm not the only one!
