New To Forum
Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I am new to the Bike Forum.
As far as intorductions, I live and ride in west-central Indiana, 15 miles from IL line. I am an IL native ... thus the name "oldillini" ... displaced to IN for career purposes.
I am not new to riding just new again. 10-12 years ago I was riding 130-150 miles weekly, but when my youngest daughter was diagnosed with a rare disease I focused my energy elsewhere. The girls are now in college and I am back in the saddle.
I ride a 15 year old Raleigh road bike. Nothing fancy but it works for my 60-75 miles a week. Once tuition payments are over I hope to get a newer set of wheels.
I look forward to joining in when possible and hope all your rides are safe!

WELCOME!!!!!!!!!
I've also got an older bike, a Schwinn --probably 30 yrs old-- that gets me where I want to go. I converted it from a five to 12 speed. Is more comfortable than my newer lighter bikes and great for just riding around.
Anyway, glad you found your way here.

when i get back up to school We'll have to ride together I go to Rose-Hulman on the east side, it only takes 15 min to get to the south side though. I have learned from experiance, dont ride the north east side!!! to many dogs and weird people.

LOL! thats fine, I'll be the first on to tell you that I'm new as well. I have only been biking for 3 months on and I'm learning all the time. Come spring I'll be all hardcore about training so i can do well in the college season, but their are enough fun rides that IN has for us bikers. and it is nice to ride in a group sometimes
