Hi, I'm a Newb here.

Hello everyone, I'm a Newbie here. I'm doing a lot of research as I prepare to by my road bike. Did a lot of riding when I was younger and am pretty excited about getting back into it. Looking to maintain my fitness for health as well as riding my Sportbike on Track days. It appears you all offer a wealth of info I could use.

Regards,
Ado (nickname pronounced A-dough)

Hello Ado, well, if the folks here can't give you any pointers, then we've failed in our mission .

So, let us know how we can help!

Welcome to BF!

Update: Picked up a Fuji Roubaix this weekend. Though it doesnt have 105 for ALLl components, it's all my pocketbook could muster for now, and I needed to get clip pedals and a new road helmet. This site was a great resource. I adjusted the handlebars some to provide me a riding position I felt more comfortable with.

Don't forget, you can always upgrade later when the pocketbook allows. Enjoy that ride!
