Hi
Hi,
My name is Jim and I am from Rock Island, Illinois. I have been riding my mountain bike to stay in shape for a couple years. In July I started to look around for an appropriate road bike. I was surprised how different a road bike felt compared to a mountain bike. The last road bike I rode was my old ten speed Schwinn Sprint. I was also surprised how expensive everything seemed. Finally, last week I bought a Giant OCR2. I love the bike and look forward to riding it for thousands of miles.

Welcome, Jim. You know, when you make the appropriate inflation adjustments, a decent bike isn't really that much more expensive than they were in years past. I will admit that it takes some getting used to the initial sticker shock.

Hello Jim, a bicycle isn't that much more than a membership at a gym, and a lot more convenient! And, you are looking forward to riding for thousands of miles and won't have to pay a dime for gas the entire time .
