Hello everyone!

Just found the forum and I'm very happy to be here. I have been riding an average of 2,000 - 4,000 miles per year, depending on job and family time constraints, for the last 15 years. I've been riding a Trek 5200 for the last 7 years and am now in the market for a replacement. I'd be what everyone seems to call a Clydesdale at 6'2" 235 lbs. I look forward to getting some great information from the forum.

Hello Pat, you do a lot of riding! No wonder you are looking for a replacement bike . Are you a commuter, with that kind of mileage?

Welcome to BF!

Thanks for the welcome! I am not a commuter but I am self-employed and work out of my home which allows me a lot of flexibility for riding.

This looks like a great place, i can't believe I haven't come across it before. I've been reading the Clydesdale forum with great interest.

Sounds like one of the benefits of working out of one's home, eh?

The Clydes/Athenas forum is one of the nicest forums around (and I always like to throw in a good word for my personal favourite of Classic & Vintage--hey, I have 12 some bikes, almost all of them vintage).
