I just started cycling...

(as opposed to riding a bike) with my girlfriend who is much younger and a serious marathoner. Will I die? Dare I eat a peach? I cannot wear my trousers rolled.

Seriously diggin' the ride.

Hmmmm. I thought cycling and riding a bike were the same thing.
Or when you say "riding a bike" are you referring to a POS motorcycle?

I am diggin' on a Fuji Team. Trying to get it dialed in just right. I'm having a few issues w/some thumb pain due to the fact that I had dislocated them both some time ago but I think I may have solved that. Now if I can get the seat issue resolved.

I've actually made some improvement already as far as riding goes. I've done up to 25 miles but still can't fully hang with the girl. sigh. Getting old sucks.

Oh, and when I said riding a bike I meant, you know, leisurely in the park on Sunday while wearing a bonnet.

Don't worry, there are a billion threads in here on saddle issues . In all seriousness, that can be one of the hardest things to get right on the bike. Some people never have a problem, some people spend months getting it right.
