just a stupid question?

Hi everybody, I'm a little new at this forum thing, But i'm frustrated as the devil with manufacturers. I just started repairing bikes at my shop...I'm pretty good at it.except for the technical information. I have a customer that dropped off an old Murray 26 inch with balloon tires. 26x2.125. it needs a couple spokes.but I really have no idea what size to order... all these millimeters and 107.9 crap is a little beyond me. I'm gonna play stupid here. Is there a standard spoke for this style bike..and if so.what the heck is it.?LOL/ help an old guy out here! I really don't need a box full... just about a dozen to get me through.anyone have a few spokes laying around they'd like to sell?. or at least educate me as to what the size would be.if I do have to order them!.get back to me asap........ levanslandscaping@yahoo.com

Levland you might want to try to post this question in the bike mechanics forum here. There are a lot of very informed people there that can probably help you.

And welcome to Bike Forums!
