Back in the Saddle, again (out were a friend is a friend)

Howdy Y'all.

Night Hawk is a 1988 Specialized Carbon, naked black with Aluminum lugs. She came into my life in 1991 during the first tactical deployment of the "Stealth Fighter" Night Hawk and was so named because I could sneak up on unsuspecting folk under their radar.

She is my second bike replacing a 1982 Puch Collegeint, exPuch riders will immediately see why I was smitten.

I am a charter member of the " Old Guys Who Get Fat in Winter" club but my last winter started 10 years ago after I nearly killed my self doing a sub 5 hour Hotter than Hell. The bike went into the garage and stayed there for 10 years.

Last November with me being 60Lbs overweight my wife dug Night Hawk out and left her sitting in the driveway, with new helmet and gloves. It is now 3500 miles and 30 pounds later and I can be found haunting the roads anywhere between McKinney Tx and Italy.

So be ever alert you may some day pass the Night Hawk and me and not even know it.

You sir may have a fantastic bike but allow me to say that you have an unbelievably fantastic wife!!! What a gesture! Now that's love baby. If ever you get up to Sweden I'll show you some great biking countryside.
