Howdy from Austin!

I am 58 years old, and semi-retired. I recently started biking with my 28-year-old daughter. I purchased a sweet used De Rosa A+ when the bike my daughter saved from the garbage truck proved unworthy (but has been salvaged for my son). My daughter and I will ride from Austin to Hot Springs, Arkansas in April. The ride will not be supported and is designed to be a fundraiser for my wheelchair-bound 8-year-old granddaughter. She will join us for the first and last day of the ride. I am excited about learning from y’all. I have already found many helpful ideas and I look forward to any helpful hints on what to do or not do as we prepare for this ride.

Great to have you here, Larry, and good luck with the ride .

Do you have photos of the bike?

Do you have a link for us?

Welcome to BF!

No link yet but I hope some time soon. We have a lot of work to do. Sadly last weekend as I prepared to take some pictures of my bike and my granddaughter's chariot attached to my daughter's bike I caused my daughter to drop and break her camera! I will get a link and post our training activities soon.

If what you're doing is through a not-for-profit, you could also post this in the Charity Events forum.

Always like to see photos, so I'll be waiting .
