Hello from Orange County, California

I've biked off and on for a while but this school year, I brought my mountain bike to college and use it for commuting from the train station in addition to biking around campus.

This is the first time I've had to take care of everything on my own so I've been perusing past threads.

Hello Zian--it's a big step having to take care of one's own stuff. Frightening to many, too.

Bikes are one of the easier things to take care of, though. .

Welcome to BF!

Thanks for the welcome, East Hill. So far, I haven't had to do anything with tools yet. I'm sure I'll have those kinds of problems soon enough...

I've already managed to get into a discussion about vehicular cycling on my blog.
