howdy from Tempe, AZ

I'm 38 years old, married (with five kids). My wife and I are really enjoying all the great bike trails in and around Tempe. Having only moved here recently I'm still discovering the South Mountain Park and I can say that I've finally been "mountain biking". Our bikes are fairly entry-level (mine is a Giant and hers is a Specialized). I'm riding about 100 miles a week (on average) and my wife is riding about half as much. It's great exercise and I love being out in trails. I'm hoping to learn a lot more about biking in general and maybe make some contacts for group rides.

Hello Pat, I see you've done some exploring already . Mountain biking is a lot of fun, and I like to mix it in with riding the road bikes.

Welcome to BF!

I've been fortunate enough to live all over the US and this is my favorite place. We are making it "home". I just love it here.
