Another intro
Hi All,
I'm an old man (mid 30's ) from south Louisiana. I've been riding bikes all my life but haven't been riding enough in recent years. I'm starting to ride a lot more now though. I'm currently riding a 10 year old Trek Mountain Bike. It's nothing fancy and not the most appropriate for where I ride, but I like it and it works for me. Anyway, this looks like a very busy forum. I'll try to keep up
Cheers,

Hello Bruce, what kind of riding are you doing then? Are you commuting? You can put slicks on your MTB to make it easier to ride on the road...

It's funny that my MTB spends most of it's time on the road; in my younger days I had a road bike that spent most of it's time in the dirt. Luckily I don't have to commute right now though. I'm just riding around the neighborhood. Hopefully if/when I do need to start commuting again it will be in a city where I can do so by bike and/or public transportation. I really want to move to Portland, OR but it's not going to happen anytime soon. Thanks for the welcome.
