Welcome to BF.

Old?? What's that?? I'll be 63 next month and I'm not old.
Cycling keeps us young.

Your body will soon get used to the road bike and you'll love every mile you spend riding.

What Ron said! How far did you get on your first ride with the road bike?

Welcome to BF!

Thanks for the welcome! I had been pullin' 20 miles on the comfort bike, so the 20 on the road bike just went faster....and rougher......

I'll bet you're feeling a lot better now, and ready to try again! It gets less uncomfortable the more you get out there (well, unless you have a saddle that just doesn't fit, but that's not quite the same!).

Don't worry, a few weeks from now you will wonder why you ever felt sore .
