New Member from Chicago Area

New roadie from the Chicago area. Started riding a little more than 1 year ago. Totally adicted. Bought a Trek Pilor 2.1 last September and have about 3700 miles on it. I am looking forward to learning how to become a better rider!

Hello btographer, stop by the regional forums and say to the rest of the folks from Chicago--there are a lot of members from Chicago. Wow, that's a lot of mileage--are you commuting on your bike as well?

Welcome to BF!

Hi East Hill,

Thanks for the welcome. Wish I could commute by bike, but live in the North suburbs of Chicago and work downtown. Most of my miles come from daily early morning rides, about 14 miles during the work week, longer on the weekends. I've become a bit of an addict..hope it lasts.

Just remind yourself that 30 years from now you don't want to be talking about your diabetes and high blood pressure, and that should help . Besides, it's fun .
