hey guys!

Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. I've been cycling for about a year now, and have officially caught the bug. I average about 300 miles a week, which I alternate with running. I used to be big into running, but now I can't seem to tear myself away from my bike long enough to run more than 5 or 6 miles I ride a Lemond Versailles (2006), but am already looking into upgrading. I'm interested in a custom, or "boutique" type of bike. I'm in the Orlando area of Florida, where I teach ninth grade English... so needless to say, everyday is an adventure with those crazy kids.

Ok, I need to get out. Beautiful weather today, time to ride!

Hello blondecyclist, I can see where riding a bike would be a good way to get away from ninth graders...oy vey! What builders were you looking at for your upgrade?

Welcome to BF!
