Welcome to the Portland bike scene Mitch. Good time to get your fee wet. Not sure if you've heard or not, but there are a couple of events tomorrow and Saturday (both at noon, i think) to gather in support of the cause of making cycling safer in portland. There are some details at www.bikeportland.org in the forums.

Welcome, and be sure to watch for leaves on the road this time of year, they get mighty slippery.

Hello Mitch, what part of the biking scene are you going to join, and what kind of bike are you riding?

Welcome to BF!

Right now I ride my moms 30 year or so old bike. I go Zoo Bombing as much as possible, but have gotten 3 tickets in one night... Long story. I will be getting a Track bike from Bike central within two weeks. I am gonna use it as a commuter, and I will be racing it this summer. I have been really busy with school and all, so I don't think I will be able to make it to the biking support thing.

It's the best feeling in the world! (At least the best biking feeling, hahaha)
