    Hi, from No. Calif

    Hi,

Been lurking for a while thought I would chime in here.

I like to road and mountain biking and I also commute some. I'm lucky to live in Sonoma County lots of great riding.

I've been mountain biking since the middle eighties, unless you count exploreing the East Bay Regional parks on a 5 speed stingray in the early 70's. still have my first Rock Hopper. It's quite beat but works well for getting groceries and the occiacional burning man trip.

I have only been road riding (at least with a road bike) for the last 7 years or so.

still have my first Rock Hopper. It's quite beat but works well for getting groceries and the occiacional burning man trip.

currently have a Marin Mt Vision and a specilized Allez, And a garage full of kid bikes and often thier friends bikes too.

Take it easy, and try to keep the shiny side up.

    Jeff

Hello Jeff, where do you live in Sonoma county? I've lived in Sebastopol, Graton, and SR. Used to live just about a mile from Annadel SP, but wasn't into cycling when I lived there . If I had known the joys of MTB back then I might still be in California...well, perhaps not, it's still too hot for me.

Were you at the last BM? Did you get to meet Greenblazer?

    Welcome to BF!

I live in sebastopol. West County area is great for road riding. Now the Willow Creek area is open (leagally) to MTB. Annadel is still the local favorite.

I was at BM in 03 and 05. I think I will go this year, 08.

don't know Geenblazer. It that what he/she wears?

    Here's Greenblazer:

Sadly, his bike got stolen. I think he acts as a marshall? at BM.

Wow, small world. I used to live on Coffee Ln. right off Occidental rd. I live in town now. Lot easier to bike around town and commute.

I would have remembered Greenblazer's bike. Quite the burning man ride. Sorry to see it was stolen. Seems like it would be pretty obvious. I wonder if he put EL wire under the fur for the lighting effect.

Give a shout if you are back down this way and maybe we could go for a ride.

    Peace,

    Jeff

If I am ever in a position to be able to ride when I am down there next, I'll see if I can't stop and say hi .
