Hi from Chicago

I've recently decided that commuting to work is a really good idea. the cta is crap anyhow.

I owned and rode a huffy blue ridge for about 12 years through all weather. it was recently stolen at the train station and I decided to make a major upgrade!
I just got a specialized tricross sport '07 with fenders and a rack! although I'm concerned that it may be too big for me?

anyhow, I can't wait to get riding (and posting).

Hi yukon,

I hope you enjoy your tricross. I just wanted to stop by and say hello to a fellow Chicagoan. Maybe I'll see you around on the streets. Happy riding.

Hi Yukon C., yes, that's a major upgrade all right! Why do you think the bike may be too big for you? It could just be that you are not used to it yet...

Welcome to BF!

I'd agree that that's quite a nice upgrade. Welcome to the forums.

There are a ton of posts regarding bike fit. If you do a search on that term and others, I'm sure you'll be crushed with too much information! Seriously, you'll find a lot of data, but most of it is very helpful.

Many welcome to BikeForums!
