Why am I here?: partaking of a nicely rediscovered interest in cycling of late
After riding a fair bit as a teenager before drifting completely away from cycling about 10 years ago, a lack of general fitness due to knee problems from playing 20+ years of basketball lured me back to the bike. Watching the 2006 TdF I thought "I should be doing that", 2 months later I was back riding my mountain bike on the road. 4 months after that I had a road bike, and was really finding out all about the muscles I'd not used for years. Been back on a bike seriously for 8 months for fitness and its having the desired effect.
I'm mainly a road rider, but once I rebuild my mountain bike I'm off to try a few trails.
