Hello Tony! Do you do fitting? Have good stories to tell? I know you must have some good stories to tell . I believe that one of the regular members of the Classic & Vintage forum made a recent pilgrimage to the shop, although I can't find the thread right now. Lovely bicycles!

Edit: Here's the thread:

Witcomb Cycles

Welcome to BF!

Yes there are lots of stories about Witcombs.... not all of them should be public :0)

People are always welcome to the shop to see our work!

Weather is COLD, (i'm in the shop at the moment and is cold here too).

I've got a new Witcomb (the yellow and white one in your other fourm), i've also got a Bianchi Carbon that I dont use much and also an old 1968 Witcomb TimeTrial bike.

The next time I am in London I will be sure to stop by. Don't know when that will be, but a visit home will be forthcoming in the next year or so...I get so homesick otherwise .

They seem to be very nice frames. Now for your story Tony. Are you a long time employee or a kid living his dream ?

Well, both really.

I've been here off and on for two years now helping out, but as Barry fast approached retirement age i've stepped in to help manage the company to ensure we can keep going for another 80 years.

We're making a profit for the first time in six years so hopefully its working, and Barry is working still and training up new framebuilders in the craft.
