There's a thread down in Forum Suggestions (waaaay down at the bottom of the home page) just for practicing posting photos. Are you sure the Univega is aluminium, and not steel? As for replacing parts, there's a thread in C & V for 'in search of' (the iso/wtb thread) stickied close to the top of the page in C & V, so you might ask there.

That is the frame for the GT Vertigo BMX and as the name suggests it was designed for Vert riding.

That Black bike is the HARO Backtrail Pro....well it used to be anyways

REDLINE X This is the Bike I bought my wonderful girlfriend

mmm Vintage BMX I loves it...bealeve it or not I got this bike from the 2nd owner for 75 bucks!
But with this bike the handle bars are too tall and they make handle funky...I'm on the look out
for better fitting handle bars for her bike

Last but not least...MOSH Dj2 BMX

This is by FAR my most favorite BMX ever! I used to own a Red Mosh DJ2 But some Jack***** thought that he deserved it more then I did and stole it....After I put about $800ish into it,
My old parts list consisted of four REDLINE pegs
REDLINE fork lifter handlebars
Profile 3 piece crank
Alex triple wall rims and spokes to make them fit my Mosh hubs
Fishbone Gyro
Diacomp 990 front brakes
Dia comp brake levers I think...(been a long time)
My seat post from my univega and crossbow saddle
two or three sets of tires one set for every accasion...and spares
Sigh...now I'm working on my new Dj2. which is the blue one pictured above

My NEW mosh DJ2.....parts list is....So far...
Mosh Dj2 frame(blue) and forks (black)
Mosh front and rear hubs
Alex double wall rims
Odyssey tires
Mosh forks
Mosh stem
HARO handle bars
REDLINE grips (blue)
Mosh three piece cranks...(junk)..lol
Mosh pedals(good)
Odyssey MODuLever brake lever
dia comp 990 rear brake
HARO seat
REDLINE pegs

That Univega has Cyclocross written all over it. Build it up and come out for some racing next year. Two of Portland's best races are in your backyard! Barton Park, and Estacada Timber Park. There's some old school BMX'rs out there for sure...technical skills are a big plus. Welcome to BF.

Nice selection of bikes there, Capri! A bit of cleanup on a couple of them would make them into some awesome machines (especially the Univega).

Just don't drift away as so many people do--much to their regret twenty years down the line when they realise how much fun they were missing. Besides, it's a great way to enjoy family life .

Back again I think I want to clean up and sell the UniVega...That thing is just too big for me...lol I want to try and scrape up enough money to get a Disk brake conversion for my Beloved Mosh. I saw a few on Ebay recently for around $110-120$ range just for frame and forks and that was ones that weren't cleaned up good
