Hey there from Brooklyn NY

I've been riding my bike around town for errands and transportation when the subways are inconvenient - now I'm looking to commute. My bike is... um... I don't really know what it is. I just told the guy at the shop a few years ago that I needed something I could use to pick up a few groceries. Wikipedia seems to think it's a "utility bike" but I don't know if I believe them. It's pink and its model name is "unicorn" which is good enough for me Anyhoo I'll probably end up in the commuting forum, looking for ways not to freeze my ass off.

Hi LydiaBrunch, there's a whole forum devoted to finding ways to keep you from freezing--the Winter Cycling forum.

Let's see some photos of the bike .

Welcome to BF!

There's lots of base layers that are "approved" by BFers to stay warm in. Craft and UnderArmor Cold Gear are among them. Welcome to BF...

You are definitely ready for grocery hauling! Side note--it looks as if you have an impressive collection of vinyl there, too .
