Hello from Northeast Florida

Hi:

Just signed up for this site. My name is John and from northeast Florida, a town called Saint Johns, in Saint Johns County. Located just south of Jacksonville, this area is known as the First Coast. St. Augustine, the oldest continually occupied city in the country, is located 30 miles from me. I'm looking forward to learning more about this forum.

Welcome!

Hi John,

It's good to see you here. I am from the Florida Panhandle, NW Florida. I spent a lot of time in your area while my sons were attending UF. I am especially fond of St. Augustine. Enjoy. Tailwinds! Kath

Hi John, I am in Jacksonville, welcome to the forum. I might have to go over to that ride.

no not yet, although I did download a couple of their maps. Keep meaning too, but never got around to it. I typically ride at night due to work\family which does not allow for group rides very much

We have one or more rides every day of the week. Saturday morning I dot he "Tour de Jax" from Mandarin to downtown (although rain and cool weather kept me off the bike today). I'm planning to organize a Wednesday evening ride when DST resumes in Mandarin/Fruit Cove area.
