Hello from NYC
I just started biking about a year ago and got the bug pretty bad. I would like to start racing soon and am trying to train for it. Hopefully I can get some good advice/expertise on what to do.

Welcome to the Forums Jon,
What type of riding do you do? road, bmx, mountain, cyclocross etc....
racing can be an enjoyable experience but you must remember to always have fun (I think some people lose sight of that) anyhow welcome aboard.

I am mostly into road biking. I agree with you its most important to have fun. I just really enjoy riding, and was thinking of adding racing as another way to ride. Mostly though I will be doing club rides to stay in shape. I am in med school, so I don't have that much free time and cycling is a great way to stay healthy.
