Hello from SoCal
Howdy, All-
I hail from San Clemente, CA and ride/commute to Irvine via the Metrolink system.
I've been into casual riding my entire life--mostly mountain bikes--but I've owned a few on-road recreational bikes (Beach-cruiser and vintage Schwinn as campus crawlers in college). My most recent addition (excluding a junky folding bike) is a Peugeot that a friend gave me to begin my life as a trane commuter. I have never ridden a traditional touring bike until yesterday, and I must say it is awesome! I've been on plenty of bikes, but this was the first time I really experienced the speed and agility of a performance-minded cycle.
